Our Company Candle Perfection®, a renowned manufacturer of permanent nylon candle products throughout the funeral, church and gift industries started as a home based craft business. When Phyllis James fell in love with the handcrafted candle products that Mike and Kathy Monfort where selling at street fairs, she immediately wanted to venture into the permanent nylon candle business. In 2002, she started buying the handcrafted candles and selling them through home based parties and local gift shows in Scottsdale, AZ.  More than 4 years after starting the business Candle Perfection has moved far beyond the garage manufacturing and home party consultant stage. In 2005, Candle Perfection moved into a small manufacturing facility with a small retail showroom and launched the e-commerce website for national distribution. As business expanded to include offerings to religious, wedding and gift industries Candle Perfection drew the attention of America’s oldest candle maker Will and Baumer Candle Company and established a license arrangement with to expand the growth of the religious industry. In 2004, Phyllis received a US Patent on the “Light of Life” Candle Cremation Urn which was formulated from a personal need when she lost her beloved poodle Max.  The candle urn is designed to replicate the appearance of a traditional beeswax pillar candle.  The urn has a handcrafted nylon memorial candle that rest atop the urn base.  It will never melt or change its pristine appearance and will become a precious heirloom to be passed through generations as a symbol of love and honor.  The urns can be personalized with custom engraving or decorative appliqués. In 2005, Candle Perfection was awarded an Honorable Mention in the International Cemetery and Funeral Association’s 2005 KIP (Keeping It Personal) Awards, recognizing the best in personalization in the cemetery and funeral service profession.   The Candle Cremation Urn and Keepsakes are now available through funeral industry leaders York Products, Inc., Matthews Casket Company, Aurora Casket Company. In 2007, as a result of the union with W & B much of the manufacturing process for the church candles was moved to Tennessee.  Meanwhile the funeral industry became the focus of distribution of the US Patented Candle Cremation Urn, Candle Keepsafes™ and chapel candles, which are still manufactured in Phoenix, AZ. In 2009, Candle Perfection released their first print media catalog to the funeral industry. The 2009 ‘Light of Comfort’ catalog features Candle Perfections handcrafted “Light of Life™” Candle Cremation Urns and Keepsafes™, prayer cards, memorial gifts and jewelry.  Additionally, the catalog offers chapel and reception area candles, candle lighting ceremony supplies and cemetery lights. We continue to offer our full line of residential candle products, Chapel candles, and Wedding and Celebration, Funeral and Memorial and Pet Care and Gift Industry products and specially formulated liquid paraffin fuel. Our Product Candle Perfection® - The Perfect Candle Never Melts, offers a real point of difference. Our candles are constructed from the highest quality nylon and use multi-filtered liquid paraffin fuel. These permanent candles are refillable and more economical than traditional wax candles because they can be refilled an unlimited number of times. The Perfect Candle gives off a soft, warm glow in subdued lighting and replicates the appearance of a traditional beeswax candle. The outer nylon shell never melts and looks exquisite at all times. Our permanent candles are crafted from nylon to replicate the appearance and illumination of solid wax candles without the messy wax, smoke, odor or soot. Candle Perfection products are more economical to use and environmentally safer to use.
